The Mount Sequoyah Center is celebrating 100 years of service to the community. For decades, the United Methodist Church ran the center while also hosting non-religious events. Since 2016, the center has served as a non-profit granting a space for artists, musicians, writers and organizations (like our own). We chatted with CEO + President Emily Gentry about the center, including myths and legends, and what to expect for their 100 years celebration.
